The group meet once a week for about an hour. At these meetings, Doych introduces the topic for the week.
The meetings are recorded and the recordings are available for review.
The time between the meetings is for individuals and groups to work on assignments. Coaching is provided in a closed chat group and 1 on 1 consultations.
The private sessions provide the participants with an opportunity to focus on a specific problem or lifestyle situation. These face-to-face meetings are highly valued by previous participants, who say that they got that so-called “Ahaa” moment when everything learned clicks into place.
Wellness Mastermind is a place where you not only have the support, motivation and understanding of other people like you, but you can also count on constant access to an expert to consult.
– Weight loss program or diet
– Muscle building program
– Place for advertising and selling products
– Religious philosophy or practice
All exercises and assignments are designed to fit in 15-20 minutes. If you can’t set aside 15 minutes for yourself every day, this program is not for you.
I remember when I was in my early teens, I used to think that 20 is a very old age. There were occasions when a person I knew would die at the age of 50 and people would say that he or she “went too young” . I remember very well thinking “what do you mean “too young”, it’s 50 years! Today I am 53 and I realize I have been curious about how and why people age and why they die for a long time now.
Another thing I remember from those years is that I was sure that because I am very young until the time I get older, science would certainly have found a way for humans to be forever young and not die.
This curiosity of mine has grown into a deep professional interest in the recent years.
I have been working with more and more people whose age is close to mine and this gave me an opportunity to observe how we (grownups:) move, live, what hurts and what gives us energy and purpose to keep going in many cases even stronger now than when we were 20.
Learning from older people’s examples is a naturally honest and absolutely priceless experience. Call me “old school”, but I would always value the advice of an older man before even opening the next 20-year-old longevity guru’s best-selling book.
Anyway, after many conversations with people my age and older, hundreds of podcasts and books on the topic of aging, longevity, and performance several things began to emerge that most people of age regretted to some extent: loss of strength, endurance, and inability to cope with certain daily activities.
If you think about it, examples are all around us. The woman who can’t get on the bus without help, the man on the train who can’t put his bag in the overhead luggage compartment, the elderly who couldn’t get up from the ground without help…
These observations made me think: what if there is a way to avoid the consequences that we inevitably associate with old age: loss of strength, mobility, balance, memory, orientation…
Can we keep our strength, energy, enthusiasm, and spirit and turn age into “just a number”, as written in so many birthday cards.
Why does it looks like we expect to be like that when we get old? Why should it be normal to lose strength, endurance, flexibility, and decline on all fronts of motor, mental, and emotional health?
I started the Mastermind project with humbleness and immense appreciation for what has been written, discovered, done by countless thinkers, scientists, and gurus of health and longevity.
However, I strongly believe that it is not what we know, what we have read, or the titles we have next to our name that determine our health and longevity, but rather those are the actions that we take day after day.
In this sense, my goal is to find those little steps, biohacks, routines, adaptations, adjustments that make sense and are suitable for you and your unique lifestyle.
After a series of experiments with coaching formats, I settled on a model borrowed from the popular business sector – the so-called Mastermind Group.
My desire was to create such a social learning environment where I could deliver quality, accessible and immediately applicable information on health, longevity, and performance.
Wellness Mastermind is all that and even much more is coming.
